Eze Nwachukwu Congratulates First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu On Conferment Of Chieftaincy Title In Igbo Land

The Apex Igbo traditional leader and Ezendigbo in Lagos State, Eze Christian Uchechukwu Nwachukwu, has conveyed his warm congratulations to Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Nigeria’s First Lady, on the conferment of Chieftaincy title as Ugo Si Mba 1 in Igbo land. 

 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that Eze Nwachukwu, who is the Ochiagha of Obodoukwu town, Imo State, praised Senator Tinubu as a dedicated and compassionate leader, whose positive influence has touched numerous lives throughout her distinguished public service career that cuts across the nation despite her tribe and religion.

 

In a statement, Nwachukwu described the First Lady of Nigeria as an advocate of social justice, a philanthropist and a champion for those who often go unheard and the less privileged in the society.

 

Eze Nwachukwu stated that Mrs. Tinubu has always identified with Ndigbo in Lagos State and recalled that she was given a chieftaincy title by the Igbo Community in Lagos State in 2004 as Ezinne Ndigbo, when her husband was the Governor of Lagos State. 
She also recalled that she was present during the Commissioning of Igbo Community center in Ago, Okota and the palace of Eze Nwachukwu and has always listened and assisted Ndigbo like her husband, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the past.

 
Based on her kind heartedness she presented some cycles for the less handicapped in the society to show her compassion to humanity.
He stated that Ndigbo are very proud of her achievements and compassion to humanity and will continue to identify with her and her husband.

 

Eze Nwachukwu expressed his belief that Senator Tinubu, who has served three terms as a senator, is deserving of celebration for her outstanding service to Lagos State and the nation in various capacities both in the public and private sectors.

 

“Senator Oluremi Tinubu deserves to be celebrated, considering the quality service she has rendered to our dear State and to Nigeria in different capacities, both in private and public service.” Nwachukwu stated.

He prayed that God will continue to protect and guide her while assuring her that Ndigbo will continue to pray for her family.
