The Ezendigbo Lagos State and National Treasurer of Igbo traditional rulers in diaspora, Eze Christian Uchechukwu Nwachukwu, has commended Senator Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, over his empowerment programme, which included Igbo residents in Lagos West Senatorial District in the State.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that Eze Nwachukwu stated this over the plans of Senator Yayi on the empowerment programme being organized in the Senatorial District, which includes about 200 Igbo, who will benefit in the gesture.

Eze Nwachukwu stated that over the years Senator Yayi has demonstrated that he is a good man with a good heart and detribalised Nigerian.
He noted that Senator Yayi’s  massive empowerment programmes to the good people of Lagos West Senatorial District, which is the largest in Nigeria, is commendable and encompassing because of the way ethnic groups are accommodated in the scheme.

“On behalf the Igbo Community and entire good people of Lagos West Senatorial District, we assure you of our continued support and believe to remain resolute to your representation to our constituents in the Red Chamber. The youths and women are appreciative of your goodness and kindness to empower them massively and we pray to God to continue to bless you.”

Eze Nwachukwu also warned  some Igbo disgruntled Igbo persons parading themselves as merchant politicians working against the Igbo interest for their selfish interests in Lagos State, to desist from that because the Igbo Community is taking note of their actions.

He stated this on the heels of one Eze Uche Dimgba, Emeodi and others, who went to Senator Adeola demanding for forms on behalf of the Igbo people after they have collected their slots.

He explained that the forms were given to one Pastor Joe, who shared among the coordinators and ensured it got to every interest group in the Senatorial Zone including Uche Dimgba.

He wondered what Dimgba and cohorts wanted to achieve by going to Senator Yayi to demand for another form by denting the image of Igbo people in the Zone.
