A man, Prince Segun Nzewi, who parades himself as a community leader, using it to extort money and intimidate the residents of Dollion Street, Kirikiri town in Lagos has landed in trouble.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect, Nzewi, was arrested for slapping a female Police sergeant, identified as Yemisi.

The incident happened at Dollion Street Junction in Kirikiri town, where the Police woman, Yemisi, was posted to control traffic in the area.
It was gathered that Nzewi was not happy that the victim and her other officers were working to decongest traffic situation in the area, which Nzewi was said to have used to extort money from companies and residents under the false pretence of Corperate Social Responsibility.
The officers were said to have been working to attain easy flow of traffic in line with directive by the Commissioner of Police to decongest traffic situation in the state. This brought altercation between Nzewi and the Police officers and in the process, he reportedly assaulted the victim.
The alleged assault was reported to the DPO, who ordered the arrest of Nzewi and he was later charged to Court.
Meanwhile, the residents of Dollion Street, where the incident happened, disowned Nzewi stating that he was not among their leaders who were elected by the residents during election.
This was confirmed by the elected chairman of Dollion and stakeholders association, Emmanuel Onyeahasi, when our reporter contacted him.
He explained that the residents conducted an election where he emerged as Chairman, Dr. Geoffrey Orajekwe as Welfare Officer, Felix Iweh was elected as Secretary, Madam Uche Nwankwo, Treasurer and others.
The chairman, Onyeahasi, stated that they have since been inaugurated and had commenced work to sanitize the area. He warned the members of the public to be wary of those who parade themselves as community leaders on Dollion Street and deal directly with the executive led by him.
Meanwhile, Prince Nzewi was still in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail conditions.
