Police operatives from the Rivers State Command have arrested a fake Reverend Sister while also rescuing 15 children kidnapped from various parts of Port Harcourt and its environs.
P.M.EXPRESS reports as disclosed by the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Friday Eboka.
CP Eboka, who made the disclosure at a news briefing in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, said that Police operatives acting on credible intelligence made the arrest at Aluu, Ikwerre Local Government Area of the state.
According to the Police boss, the 44-year old suspect, Maureen Wechinwu, who claimed to be a Reverend Sister, was arrested when the Police operatives stormed Omuigwe Abuja Phase 2, Aluu area of Ikwerre Road Government, Rivers State.
Following her arrest and rescue of the 15 children with ages ranging from seven to nine years, CP Eboka said that she will be charged to Court for the alleged offence after the conclusion of investigations.
