A 35-year old fake spiritualist, Lukman Olanrewaju has been arrested and charged before a Lagos court after he lured and engaged a woman, Adeniran Mutiat Jumoke on a three-day marathon sex deliverance under false pretense of curing her from abject poverty.
The incident happened at 14, Akinlegan Street, off Dele Ara Bus stop, Abaranje, Ikotun, outskirts of Lagos where the victim was taken and duped.
Apart from engaging her in a marathon sex, the fake spiritualist also forcefully obtained the sum of N208, 000 from her before she was finally let go.
Oyo State-born Olanrewaju was charged with conspiracy, sexual assault and stealing before Magistrate’s court sitting in Ejigbo where he was asked to be remanded in prison.
P.M. EXPRESS gathered that Olanrenwaju met Jumoke who complained she was not doing well and needed spiritual assistance to uplift her to success.

Olanrewaju then promised to assist her but asked her to pay N208,000 that would be used to buy some materials for prayer. He also told her that she will also embark on spiritual deliverance which involve doing things extraordinary.
The suspect then informed her that he will engage her for sex for three days and thereafter, perform other ritual after which she will become rich at a certain period.
She gave him the money and did other things he requested including sleeping with her for three days.
Trouble however started after Olanrewaju obtained the money, and there was no improvement with her condition became worse off. When she went to complain, she could not find Olanrewaju at the Abaranje house where the rituals were performed, it was then she realised that she had been duped.
Jumoke then went to Idimu police division to report the scam and Olanrewaju was trailed and arrested. He confessed he only obtained her because he had no such power to cure poverty.
He was charged to court under the Criminal Code and pleaded not guilty.
The presiding Magistrate, Mr A.A. Fashola granted Olanrewaju bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum.
He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail.
The matter was adjourned till 5 December 2016.
