A patriarch and father of CEOAfrica Managing Director, Pa Ogbuefi Clement Ilobanafor, has passed on peacefully in his home at the age of 92 years.
This was disclosed by the family in a statement by the CEOAfrica MD.
The statement read:
“We are saddened to report the passing of Chief Ogbuefi Clement Ilobanafor, the esteemed patriarch and father of Prince Cletus Ilobanafor, the Managing Director of CEOAFRICA.”
“Papa died peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at the age of 92.
Chief Ilobanafor was a revered figure known for his unwavering commitment to community development and cultural preservation.”
“Throughout his life, Chief Ilobanafor exemplified leadership and integrity, earning the respect of many within his community and beyond. His legacy is rooted in the values of diligence and service to others, which he imparted to his family, including his son, who has continued the tradition of impactful leadership in media and advocacy.”
“As we mourn this profound loss, our thoughts and condolences are with the Ilobanafor family during this difficult time. Chief Ogbuefi Clement Ilobanafor will be remembered for his contributions to society and the indelible mark he left on those who knew him.”
“Further details regarding funeral arrangements and memorial services will be announced” the statement concluded.
