Addressing journalists after the engagement, the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mayegun Aminat anipr MNISMA, said the visit provided room for open dialogue on areas of mutual concern between the Police and Judiciary.
ASP Mayegun disclosed that other issues discussed included garnishee proceedings and fundamental rights enforcement cases. She added that both leaders agreed clearer procedures and better communication can reduce bottlenecks.
Justice Alogba expressed the Judiciary’s readiness to support initiatives that improve efficiency in justice administration. He said the courts remain open to ideas that protect rights while ensuring accountability.
AIG Akpanudom appreciated the warm reception from the Chief Judge. He assured the Judiciary of the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to strengthen cooperation, especially in areas that impact public safety and peace.
The visit ended with exchange of plaques and a group photograph. ASP Mayegun said the gesture symbolized the enduring partnership between FCID Annex Alagbon and the Lagos State Judiciary in the interest of justice.
