The Federal Government has declared June 12 as a public holiday to commemorate Democracy Day.
This declaration was made in an official statement issued by the Honourable Minister for Interior, Honorable Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo. The statement underscored the importance of the date in the nation’s democratic history.
The Honourable Minister of Interior, Dr Tunji-Ojo, emphasized the significance of this public holiday as an opportunity for Nigerians to reflect on the values of democracy, unity, and national progress.
