The Administrative Judge of the Federal High Court, Lagos Division, Justice Ayokunle Faji, held a closed-door meeting with the newly elected Executive Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lagos Branch (2025–2027), on Thursday, July 31.
The meeting took place at Lambo Hall, within the premises of the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Although the details of the meeting were not disclosed, it was observed that only the newly elected executives from the NBA Lagos Branch were in attendance, with no other judges present.
The newly elected executive committee includes: Uchenna Ogunedo Akingbade – Chairman; James Sonde – Vice Chairman; Kelechukwu Uzoka – Secretary; Ngozi Victor – Assistant Secretary; Ogechi Olisa-Mokelu – Treasurer; Patience Obiagbaoso – Financial Secretary and Rita Nwokocha – Social Secretary.
Others are Oliver Omoredia – Publicity Secretary; Benita Olejeme – Welfare Secretary, and Michael Igwebuike – Provost.
Co-opted Members: Chukwudi Kelvin Anyiam, Adekunle Olaofe, Adebimpe Bada, and Gideon Edem.
