Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, the Honourable Member representing Oluyole Federal Constituency, has warmly welcomed Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, back to Oluyole and Ibadanland, describing his return as a moment of relief, gratitude, and renewed hope for peace, unity, and reconciliation.

Hon. Akande-Sadipe noted that Chief Adeyemo is a son of the soil and a recognised member of the Oluyole community, whose deep love and commitment to Yoruba land, culture, and identity are widely acknowledged.

According to her, Chief Adeyemo’s journey reflects self-sacrifice and personal courage, adding that his principled stand under intense pressure offers enduring lessons in resilience, strength, and conviction.

“On behalf of the good people of Oluyole Federal Constituency, I warmly welcome our brother, Chief Sunday Adeyemo (Igboho Oosa), back home. His passion for the Yoruba people and our cultural heritage is well known. As a community, we pray that this homecoming ushers in healing, strengthens unity, and reinforces the enduring values that bind us together as one people,” she said.

Akande-Sadipe, extended sincere appreciation to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the statesmanship and leadership reportedly instrumental in facilitating Chief Adeyemo’s return, including the presidential clearance and the removal of his name from the Federal Government’s wanted list.

“I appreciate Mr. President for the leadership, wisdom, and consideration shown in this matter. May this step further strengthen peace, reconciliation, and national stability, while encouraging constructive engagement for the progress of our people and our country,” she added.

The lawmaker also expressed heartfelt appreciation to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, for his fatherly leadership and role as a rallying point of peace and reassurance at this critical moment.

“I especially thank our father, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, and other revered royal fathers who rallied to ensure our brother’s return. Your wisdom, counsel, and traditional leadership ensured that this homecoming is embraced with dignity and peace,” Hon. Sadipe stated.

While welcoming Chief Adeyemo back home, Hon. Sadipe called on residents, supporters, and well-wishers to celebrate responsibly and continue to uphold respect for traditional institutions, constituted authorities, and civic values in the collective interest of peace and harmony.
