A Federal lawmaker, the member of the House of Representatives representing Garki/Babura Federal Constituency of Jigawa State, Hon. Muhammadu Fagen Gawo, has passed on in Dubai.
It was gathered that the Federal lawmaker died at an undisclosed hospital in Dubai on Tuesday and was the third Federal lawmaker to have died in December, 2019.
He was said to be receiving medical treatment for a yet-to-be-confirmed ailment.
Hon. Gawo was elected to serve in the House of Representatives in 2015 on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Confirming the sad development, Muhammed Badaru, Governor of Jigawa State, in a statement issued on his behalf by Auwal Sankara, his spokesperson, condoled with the people of the state and the deceased’s constituency over the lawmaker’s death.
