Officials of First Bank Plc co-partners of Bright Stars Sports Academy will on Saturday, 28 August 2021 storm their Sports Complex, Satellite Town, Lagos State, to open a Special Bank Account, SBA for members of the Academy.
The SBA is an initiative by one of the foremost banks in Nigeria aimed at equipping kids and teenagers to ensure that they attain their God-given talents.
The SBA, according to First Bank, Is a special savings account like a target account.
According to a statement signed and issued by the Media Officer of the Sports Academy, Adebobola Alawode: “The minimum of savings is five thousand Naira per month as a designated account to save for the children in order to fund a special project especially for potential students to enable the parents save target advance training program, both in Nigeria and across the globe.”
Alawode added that the management of the Academy is leaving nothing to chance in ensuring that products from them become world-beaters in their various endeavors.
Sporting Director of the Academy, Franklin Ibojo disclosed that they have an invitational football tourney coming up in January 2022 in Dubai and plans are in top gear for the Academy to present teams in the U-15 and U-17 categories.
Ibojo further urged parents and guardians to see this SBA as an avenue to actualise the dreams and aspirations of their kids and wards.
