Born on November 6, 2007, Seimeyeha first caught the attention of coaches while developing her game at Hallelujah FC Ladies Academy in Ikeja, Lagos. Blessed with pace, intelligence, composure in front of goal and an eye for creating scoring opportunities, she quickly emerged as one of the academy’s brightest talents.

Her performances soon earned national recognition as she progressed through Nigeria’s youth national teams. She represented the Falconets at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia, showcasing her ability on the global stage. Later that year, she achieved another career milestone when she made her senior debut for the Super Falcons in an international friendly against Algeria.

While many young players struggle to transition from youth football to the senior game, Seimeyeha embraced the challenge with remarkable maturity.

Her breakthrough came during the 2024/25 Nigeria Women’s Football League season with Nasarawa Amazons, where she enjoyed a sensational campaign. “Christy Ucheibe plays for the national team. I watched her play for Benfica and win titles. I want to achieve the same. She told me many good things about Benfica.”

Beyond football, Ucheibe also offered words of wisdom that Seimeyeha says she intends to carry throughout her career.

“She told me to stay humble, chase my dreams and always be a good person.”
