The Executive members of an International non-governmental organization, Future Diplomats, have been inaugurated for social and humanitarian services for the betterment of the society in Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the inauguration took place on 1st October, 2023, with a visit to an orphanage home known as Finger of God, located in Alimosho Local Government of Lagos State.
Some of the executives inaugurated included Ambassadors, Dr (Mrs.) Juliet Odinakachi Director and Coordinator, Lagos State, Peace Obinna, (Secretary) Dr Chinedu Ifechigha, (Legal & security), Titus Osuji, (Logistics ), Jonathan Uzodinma (Financial Secretary ), Salimat Olamide Owoyemi (Media), Sam Mfuk, (protocol & ethics) among others.
The climax of the inauguration was the visit to the Finger of God Orphanage home, where some gifts items were presented to the management for the less privileged in the home.
The Director, Mrs. Odinakachi, stated that Future Diplomats executives were inaugurated for the commencement of achieving the aim and objectives of the group as NGO, which is mainly service to humanity.
She explained that the Future Diplomats Corporation is a Model UN simulation, non-profit diplomatic organization, with a mandate of preparing future diplomats to find lasting solutions to global issues founded by Ambassador Ernest Gibson.
She stated that the Future Diplomats mission is to advance understanding of the UN System and contemporary global issues through quality educational programmes and Real-life UN conferences that emphasize collaboration and cooperative conflict resolution, prepare participants for active global citizenship, and promoting unity in the society.
Mrs. Odinakachi explained that the inauguration took place across the States in Nigeria and many countries in Africa and the world to achieve the mission of the founder.
She stated that in Lagos State, the executives have already started mobilizing for membership across the Local Government areas and they will embark on some projects to train the members and the youths in the State.
