The next generation of table tennis stars will be on full display when they head to The Kallang in Singapore to compete at Singapore Youth Smash 2026 from February 26 to March 1.

Held alongside the fifth edition of Singapore Smash 2026 Presented by Resorts World Sentosa,
the Youth event offers fans a preview of future champions as they begin their journey “from Day 1 to World No. 1”.

12-year-old Miku Matsushima is set to continue the proud family tradition and emulate the footsteps of older brother Sora Matsushima.  Her 18-year-old brother has developed into one of table tennis’ biggest names, winning numerous titles during his time on the WTT Youth Series, and clinching a WTT Champions title on his way to World No.8.

Miku is also beginning to show glimpses of her talent and forge her own path to success. She already holds 13 WTT Youth Series titles to her name across all age disciplines, with four of those coming at U19 Girls’ Singles level.

At the upcoming Singapore Youth Smash, Miku will feature prominently across both the U19 and U15 Girls’ Singles events, with all eyes cast on her making a similar trajectory as her older brother.

Heo Yerim, a five-time U19 event winner on the WTT Youth Series, will also join the winner of China Youth Smash 2025 Mao Takamori, in Singapore, while Yoo Yerin returns to the WTT Youth Smash stage in search of a breakthrough.

The local faithful will be looking out for Loy Ming Ying as the 15-year-old looks to build on her recent main draw appearance at WTT Contender Muscat 2026. The teenager also bagged two medals at the recent SEA Games, with a team silver and women’s doubles bronze in Thailand.

The Boys’ Singles promises equal fireworks as Lee Seungsoo, the reigning U15 champion in Singapore and Sweden, seeks to dominate his age group again while pursuing redemption in the U19 event. He will be challenged by the reigning U19 champion, Kuo Guan-Hong of Chinese Taipei, and the in-form Alan Kurmangaliyev of Kazakhstan, a recent Youth Smash semifinalist.

Meanwhile, in the U15 Girls’ Singles, all eyes will be on Zhu Qihui as the Chinese quests for a historic fourth consecutive Youth Smash title, aiming to extend her perfect streak

Singapore Smash 2026 Presented By Resorts World Sentosa is set to welcome many of the world’s top table tennis stars, with a lucrative total prize purse of US$1.55 million on offer.

Tickets for several marquee sessions have already sold out, including the Men’s Doubles Final and the Women’s and Men’s Singles Quarterfinals on Saturday evening, February 28, as well as the Women’s and Men’s Singles Semifinals and Finals on Sunday, March 1.

Organisers have released additional seats on January 12. Tickets for Sunday sessions have once again sold out, and limited seats are left for sessions running from Friday evening to Saturday. Fans can expect more seats to be released onsite just before the event begins and should look out for announcements on WTT’s social media channels and website for more details.

In celebration of WTT Fans Appreciation Week, fans will receive complimentary access to the Qualifying Draw from February 19 to 21, with further participation details to be announced by WTT.

The Singapore Smash 2026 Draw Ceremony will be held in partnership with the Resorts World Sentosa as the Presenting Partner and Official Integrated Resort, on Friday, February 20, at Resorts World Sentosa Lake of Dreams, 5.30 PM
