PRINCE MACDONALD ENWERE

According to Jiddu Krishnamurti, an Indian philosopher and writer “Good men must die but death cannot kill their names”.

Chief Barr. Ogbonna Amadi, popularly known as “Nwadioha mma”, is a strong name that cannot be killed by death.

According to George Elliot, an English novelist, poet and journalist “Our dead can never be dead to us until we have forgotten them”. According to Sirius Black “Goodmen do not die, their names will always be reminisced even in the deliration of death”.

Chief Barr. Ogbonna Amadi, a firebrand politician who was conspicuously visible in the political scene of the modern Imo, remained on the turf defying conventional thinking always saying the truth no matter the daunting challenges.

He was a highly urbane and trans-generational

Boardroom political strategist. A former Commissioner of Commerce And Market Development under the administration of former Governor Rochas Okorocha and also a pioneer Frontline member of the “real” All Progressive Congress in the state.

Like a thunderbolt from the blue, the celestial ascension of Nwadioha mma into the metaphysical realm still remains a twist of unimaginable magnitude.

Nwadioha mma, you were a source of hope to many, a rallying point of progressivism, an inspiration to the progressive movement, a man of all times whose impression on the progression of contemporary times cannot be wiped away.

Nwadioha mma, we know you are not dead, rather you just stepped into the celestial realm to receive the crown of your good race and to give account of your good works in heaven.

As you continue to reign immortal, as you stepped into the celestial realm to receive the crown of your good race, may God Almighty grant your soul eternal rest.

May God Almighty continue to give your soul a peaceful repose until we meet again at the feet of Jesus Christ on the resurrection morning.

Fare thee well, Chief Barr. Ogbonna Amadi, Nwadioha Mma Ngor Okpala!
