Girl, 16, Blows Off Man’s Head With Gun

The police at the State Criminal Investigation and the Intelligence Department, SCIID, Panti Yaba, Lagos has commenced investigation over the death of a 27-year old man, Mr. Abrahim Umaru, who was reportedly shot dead by 16-year old girl, Miss Precious Eloho.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the teenager, Miss Eloho, reportedly shot Umaru on the head over an undisclosed matter between them. After the attack, Umaru was rushed to an undisclosed hospital where the doctors merely certified him dead and the corpse was deposited at a mortuary for autopsy report. The suspect fled after the incident but was later arrested and detained at the SCIID for investigation.

The police found her culpable and charged her before the Ebute Metta Magistrates court for murder and she was kept in a remand home because of her age .

The  incident happened at Cele Bus Stop in Ijanikin area of Lagos where the suspect and others now at large accosted the victim.

It was gathered that the 16-year old and others at large attacked Mr. Umaru and in the process she brought out a gun, shot him on the head and he bled to death. The investigation seemed to be dicey as the police had not been able to state where she brought the gun she used in killing the victim from.
However, the police charged her before the court for the alleged offence.
The prosecutor, Inspector Chinalu Nwadione, informed the court that it was a case of murder committed by the defendant and asked the court for an order to send the file to DPP for advice.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.A. Adedayo, did not take her plea and denied her bail over the allegation.
The court ordered her to be remanded in custody and directed the prosecutor to send her file to DPP for advice.
It was gathered that if the DPP finds her culpable, she will face murder charge and may be jailed for life despite her age as a minor.
