Glo Brings Olamide, Flavour, Phyno, Other Big Stars To Rock FESTAC Tonite

The Glo Mega Music Nationwide Tour which is scheduled to go round 27 cities in Nigeria will today, Saturday enter the big Festival Town  known as FESTAC Town. 

The FESTAC concert will be featuring the biggest stars in the Nigerian entertainment industry including  Olamide, Flavour, Phyno, Timaya, Kiss Daniel, Di’Ja and Reekado Banks.

DJ Neptune will be the disc jockey at the event holding at the pristine Golden Tulip Hotel.
The event, sponsored by the telecoms giant Globacom, will also have in attendance some of its brand ambassadors as celebrity guests.

They include Mercy Johnson and Juliet Ibrahim who will anchor the show, and Odunlade Adekola, Patience Ozokwor and Richard Mofe-Damijo who will be  celebrity guests and interact with the audience.

In a statement issued by the organisers, the show is free to all subscribers as long as they use up to N2,000 a month for data or voice.

Glo counseled the subscribers to send SMS “MUSIC FESTAC” to the short code 207″.

According to the statement, those who have not used up to  N2,000 before the event day can also be part of the fun by recharging the lines with N2,000 or more at the venue.

They will then receive tickets which will admit them into the concert hall.

Speaking on what his fans should expect Saturday night, rap star Olamide said, “I am highly excited to be back to the crew of the Glo Mega Music Nationwide Tour having been out of the last two shows. I want to use this medium to assure my fans in FESTAC area and beyond that it is going to be real wavy level on Saturday, and I encourage them to come out in their numbers to be part of the fun as nobody does it better than Globacom.”

Similarly, Reekado Banks declared that: “It is going to be fun all through as all the artistes performing are world-class in their own ways and they are all on fire.”

So far,the Glo Mega Music Nationwide Tour, which debuted in April 2017 has been to 22 cities including Awka, Aba, Asaba; Calabar; Port Harcourt; Ajah; Victoria Island; Benin, Ekpoma; Owerri; Ibadan; Ikeja; Abuja; Abeokuta; Ijebu Ode; Akure; Enugu; Suleja; Kaduna; Kubwa; Lokoja and Makurdi before landing in the bubbly melting pot enclave of FESTAC.
