Globacom, Nigeria’s fully integrated telecommunications company has announced that seven of Nigeria’s biggest names in entertainment will lead the performance as the Glo Nationwide Mega Music Tour holds in the Coal City of Enugu this Saturday September 2.

The show, billed for the Golden Royal Hotel, Enugu will feature  Korede Bello, Runtown, Tuface, Timaya, Phyno, Flavour and Olamide.

A statement released ahead of the event by Globacom stated: “These artistes are ready in all ramifications to give all the people coming for the show world-class entertainment. The Enugu show is loaded…”.

Three of the artistes scheduled for the Saturday show, Runtown, Phyno and Flavour grew in Enugu and their homecoming will surely resonate with the people of the Coal City who will have the rare opportunity to reconnect with their idols.

Flavour is particularly excited about returning to Enugu and he said, “I am very excited to go to Enugu. This is like going back to my roots and I cannot wait to see not only my fans in the city but those old folks we grew up together in Enugu. It is going to be a show like never before for all of us”.

Runtown and Phyno also expressed great enthusiasm about the Enugu homecoming show, saying that they had been looking forward to the show since the bookings were confirmed.

Those who will attend the Enugu show will also have the opportunity to meet celebrities like Nollywood actresses Ebube Nwagbo and Uche Jombo, who will be the masters of ceremony.

Three other celebrity actors Angela Okorie, Patience Ozokwor, and Richard Mofe-Damijo,  will also be attending.

The telecoms firm, which has become renowned as the biggest promoter of entertainment in the country, emphasized the importance of Enugu to its business, hence the hosting of the music tour in the city after a comedy concert, Glo Laffta Fest, was held by Glo in the same city on April 30.

Glo Mega Music Nationwide Tour is designed by Globacom to reward loyal subscribers across the country.

“It is a free show but to attend, subscribers have to use a credit of N2,000 for data or voice calls within a month. Once subscribers meet this criterion, they are expected to send a text message “MUSIC ENUGU” to a short code 207 to get an invitation sent to their phones,” Globacom explained.
