Organisers of the GLOWFUX Charity Concert have announced plans to mark the 10th anniversary of the annual end-of-year event with a blend of entertainment, culture, advocacy and humanitarian intervention under the theme, ‘GLOWFUX @ 10: A Decade of Changing Lives, One Story At A Time’.

The anniversary programme was unveiled on Saturday, August 15, 2026 during a media briefing held at Oshodi Arts Gallery, Itokin Road, Akasolori, Ikorodu, Lagos.

It was attended by scores of media representatives, sponsors, partners, GLOWFUX Young Ambassadors and other stakeholders.

The 10th anniversary edition is scheduled for Monday, December 28, 2026, at the Ikorodu Town Hall, Ikorodu, Lagos.

Fanafillit Integrated Concepts, the production and packaging company behind GLOWFUX, will package this year’s edition.

The event is owned by the Bundle of Hope Child Care & Empowerment Foundation.

Speaking at the briefing, Project Lead of GLOWFUX, Mr. Olubode Mac. Oserinde, reflected on the project’s journey since 2016.

He said what began as an effort to give children in orphanages a festive experience has grown into a platform that has reached more than 20 organised needy homes across Lagos State through recreation, philanthropy and advocacy.

“The philosophy behind GLOWFUX has always gone beyond simply providing food, clothing or material donations,” Oserinde said. “The project deliberately creates experiences that allow children from disadvantaged backgrounds to experience joy, dignity, recreation and a sense of belonging.”

He added that the 10th anniversary is being designed not only to celebrate the past decade but also to serve as a launchpad for a more impactful second decade.

Acting Head of Media and Publicity, Miss Chisom Oparaugo, said the theme “A Decade of Changing Lives, One Story At A Time” was inspired by transformation stories from the project over the years.

She called on media organisations to sustain awareness around GLOWFUX beyond December to help more individuals and corporate partners connect with its mission.

On what to expect at the event, Oparaugo stated that the day will begin with the GLOWFUX Carpet Session from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., featuring photography, interviews and interactions.

Children will also have access to a dedicated play arena.

The main concert runs from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and will feature music, dance, comedy and motivational segments.

Performers include young saxophonist Temilayo Abodunrin, Dom Sax, and GLOWFUX Young Ambassadors Feranmi Golden Angel and Akorede Bobo. DJ MAPS Productions will provide music.

Proposed anchors for the concert are compere extraordinaire Gbenga Adeyinka D 1st and Doyin Kukoyi, subject to confirmation.

Long-standing anchors Coyman CFR and MC Luwy are also expected to support the event.

Interviews on the carpet will be conducted by Isabella, Lizzy Oluwatomisin and Tony Iji.

The event will also feature the induction of new GLOWFUX Young Ambassadors and the GLOWFUX Hall of Charity Awards, recognizing categories such as Man of the Year, Woman of the Year, NGO of the Year, Socially Responsible Corporate Brand of the Year, and the Detribalised Nigerian Award.

Admission remains free, with complimentary meals, drinks and entertainment for all guests.

Attendees are encouraged to bring gift items for children from beneficiary homes.

A key highlight of the anniversary is planned support for 15 organised needy homes across Lagos State, including orphanages and rehabilitation centres.

Beyond gifts from the public, each of the 15 homes is slated to receive milestone anniversary items such as generators, washing machines and other household equipment.

The goal, organisers said, is to ensure the celebration leaves lasting value.

As part of activities leading to December, GLOWFUX will host a Novelty Charity Football Match in October in Ikorodu, featuring children and young people from the beneficiary homes.

The organisers are appealing to Nigerians, corporate organisations and development partners to support the anniversary programme through donations which can be made to:

Account Name: Bundle of Hope CCE Foundation
Bank: Zenith Bank
Account Number: 1312522523

Supporting brands for the anniversary include Elegushi Royal Stool, CINI Holdings, Habeeb Okunola Foundation, Jimi Benson iCare Foundation, Courteville Solutions PLC, SIFAX Group, AkModel Properties, Fidson Healthcare, Beloxxi Biscuits, Primero Transport Ltd, and others.

Discussions are ongoing with Sahara Group and a major beverage company for additional support.

Media partners include The Guardian, ThisDay, Vanguard, MITVPlus, LTV 8, City 105.1 FM, IKD 106.1 FM, Global Excellence Magazine, theeagleonline.com.ng, pmexpressng.com, and more than 20 other platforms across TV, radio, print and digital.

Since its start in 2016, GLOWFUX has grown from modest engagements with children in needy homes into a wider platform combining recreation, philanthropy and advocacy.

Organisers say the 10th anniversary aims to celebrate past impact while setting the tone for the decade ahead.
