Nigeria’s promising Golden Eaglets midfielders, Raheem Moyinoluwa Salaudeen and Fawas Ayomide Adeleke, have been recalled to the squad for the Italian Consulate General Football Tournament and Italy Pre-Season Tour.
The duo’s return comes following the conclusion of the CFA U-17 International Invitational Tournament in China.
As part of the selected squad, Salaudeen and Adeleke will continue preparations for the football development programme in Italy.
The tour will feature intensive training sessions, friendly matches, and talent showcase opportunities before European scouts and clubs.
The Italy pre-season tour is being organised in collaboration with the Italian Consulate General, Rudder Sports Management, and other football development partners. The initiative is aimed at giving outstanding young Nigerian footballers valuable international exposure and pathways to professional football in Europe.

Their inclusion in the Italy programme after the CFA Invitational Tournament further underscores the confidence in their abilities and potential.
The management of Buruj Football Club and Sports Academy congratulated the players on their selection and appreciated Rudder Sports Management for its continued commitment to creating international opportunities for young Nigerian talents.
The academy wished the duo a successful pre-season tour and further success as they continue their development toward professional careers.
