A new gospel music artiste, Rejoice Lawrence Emeka, has pleaded with pirates not to duplicate her new songs and sell in the market because she had spent huge amount of money to produce the music.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the artiste, Rejoice, has concluded plans to launch her first album in the market with the title “God is so great”. The album will be officially launched on Sunday 1st December, 2019, at Christ Battle Solution Assembly Church located at Shosanya Street by Prince Bus Stop in Ijegun area of Lagos.
Rejoice, who is a also fashion designer and makeup artist, said she decided to venture into gospel music after several years of performing in churches and now wants to expand the scope of her message across the globe.
She explained that her music was a gift from God and has divine message for salvation but it also has impact on the Nigeria youths as a way of empowering them through the song.
She regrets over the challenges the average youths face in the society when they want to start anything meaningful for their benefits and society. She said she had toiled day and night to ensure that she emerges successful in her music career by spending huge sums of money to produce the album.
Rejoice said that she made up her mind to go into full gospel music having realized that it will impart and encourage the youths in the society. She however, entertains one fear as she joins the gospel music world as a profession and that is the pirates that reap where they did not sow.
She said that she heard so much about pirates, who duplicate songs and sell to the detriment of the owners of intellectual property.
“Please pirates, I am begging you in the name of God, not to pirate my music. I have spent huge sums of money to produce the album; allow me to recoup from my investment” she pleaded.
On the launch of her new album, Rejoice said that every arrangement has been concluded for the event at the Church and dignitaries within and outside Lagos are expected to attend. She thanked those who have made contributions the success of the album and asked her numerous fans to continue to support her.
