The month of April is packed with a library of great programmes! You get to watch a  brand-new telenovela, ‘The Scent Of Passion’, which will fire up your soul! Epic battles between various football teams and thrilling shows such as ‘Judging Matters’.

GOtv is definitely the place to be this April to enjoy an amazing lineup of new and exciting programmes.

Here are some of our favorite picks for the week.

Lovers of telenovelas are in for a treat as a brand-new show ‘The Scent of Passion’ debuts this April on Telemundo. The Scent Of Passion portrays the love story between Gaviota a poor harvest girl and Sebastián the handsome son of a rich family.  Watch as their fates intertwine, birthing an irrepressible attraction and a heartbreaking, impossible love. ‘The Scent of Passion’ airs every Monday at 9pm on Telemundo (GOtv channel 14).

Join Ik Osakioduwa as he hosts the fourth season of the stand-up comedy TV show, ‘Comedy Nites’. This show will showcase an array of top-notch performances that will set the stage ablaze. From newly discovered talents to established comedians! Catch this show on Thursdays at 9:30pm on AM Urban (GOtv channel 57).

Sports lovers are not left out. Catch the live action as Inter battles Verona and Cagliari tackles Juventus in the Serie A matches on Saturday 9th of April at 4.55pm and 7.40pm respectively on SuperSport Select 1 (GOtv channel 33).

If you love court shows like Judge Judy, you will surely love ‘Judging Matters’. Lawyer, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Justice Olusola Williams tackle issues using the arbitration system, suited for small claims and minor cases. Judging Matters airs Sundays 6:30pm on AM Urban (GOtv channel 57).

Stay up to date with the search for this year’s Nigerian Idol. Get to know who impressed the judges; Simi, Obi Asika and D’Banj and who gets booted out of the race to become the next Idol.  The ‘Nigerian Idol S7’ continues on Sunday, 10th of April at 7pm on AM Urban and AM Family (GOtv channel 57 and 2).

Our list wouldn’t be complete without one of our all-time favorite game shows ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?’ with Frank Edoho doing what he does best and keeping us at the edge of our seats. Catch the game show every Sunday at 8.30pm on AM Urban (GOtv channel 57) and AM Family (GOtv channel 2).
