Governor Chukwuma Soludo was honored with a Leadership Excellence Award by the Catholic Laity Council of Awka Diocese, in recognition of his outstanding achievements in leading Anambra State.
The award ceremony took place at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Agulu, where a holy Mass was celebrated by His Lordship, Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor, the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese to flag off the Catholic Laity Council week.

President, Catholic Laity Council of Nigeria, Awka Diocese praised Governor Soludo for his remarkable progress in leading the state. “You have no rival: We love the good works you are doing and will support you to continue,” he said.
The chairman urged Governor Soludo not to relent in his efforts, assuring him of the Awka Catholic Laity’s continued support.
Governor Soludo, the APGA National Chairman, Chief Sly Ezeokenwa, and other notable personalities attended the event.
