Since the beginning of his administration, Governor Nwifuru has shown an uncommon level of dedication to all the projects under his watch. He understands that Ebonyi people deserve nothing less than quality and timely service, and he has taken it upon himself to ensure that every project reflects that standard. A clear example of this was during one of his surprise visits to the ongoing construction of the 24-kilometer Okwor-Umuogudu-Oshia–Nigercem Road in Ohaukwu Local Government Area. Without prior notice, the Governor arrived on site to inspect the quality of work being done. His presence was not for show, but to ensure that the contractor was working according to the agreed standards. This action demonstrated his commitment to excellence and his ability to lead by example.
As Governor Nwifuru himself believes, “For visionary leaders, quality isn’t optional, it’s a duty owed to the people they serve.” This belief has guided his approach to leadership and governance. He understands that project monitoring is not just about supervision; it is about turning plans into real benefits for the people.
