The Executive Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, yesterday inspected the facilities of the Anambra Newspaper and Printing Corporation (ANPC), Awka.
Historically, the Governor became the first sitting Governor of Anambra State to visit in person, the ancient facilities of this all important State owned Newspaper House.
The Governor was led round the facilities by the Managing Director of the ANPC, Mr. Chuka Nnabuife.
The Governor in his brief remarks thanked the Staff of the Corporation for their support and promised that his government will ensure that their current challenges will be adequately addressed.
Also, the Governor inspected the Government Prints Limited located inside the Government House premises with the assurances that going forward, things cannot be business as usual.
The Governor was accompanied by the Commissioner for Works, Hon. Engr. Marcel Ivejiofor, the Commissioner for Information, Mr. C Don Adinuba, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Primus Odili, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Hon. James Eze, the Managing Director of Anambra Broadcasting Service, Chief Uche Nworah and many other dignitaries.
