Guinness Nigeria’s Open For More National Consumer Promotion (NCP) has recorded 428 winners after four weeks of its weekly live draws. The promotion, which kicked off with its first live draw on July 31, has seen 107 consumers emerge as winners every Friday. Seven consumers win ₦1 million each, while another 100 consumers receive ₦100,000 each.

The weekly draws take place every Friday at 3:00 PM on the Guinness Nigeria Instagram page, where consumers can watch the selection of winners live. With four draws now completed, 28 consumers have so far won the ₦1 million prize, while 400 others have won ₦100,000, bringing the total number of winners to 428.
The draws are conducted under the supervision of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) to ensure a transparent and credible process. At the latest draw, FCCPC was represented by Odion Oyelowo, Senior Standards Officer, and Omolola Allison, Assistant Chief Scientist Officer.

Commenting on the response to the promotion so far, Ramanathan Solayappan, Marketing & Innovations Director, Guinness Nigeria, said the number of entries received reflects the growing interest from consumers across the country.

“We have seen a strong response to Open For More since the promotion began. Four weeks in, 428 consumers have already won, and there are many more opportunities ahead. We are pleased to see consumers taking part and we look forward to rewarding even more people as the promotion continues.”

For one of the winners, Uche Valentine Opara, the ₦100,000 prize came as a surprise. What made the moment even more remarkable was that his brother had also entered the promotion and won at the same time. Uche said he did not expect to be selected when he entered the promotion, making the news of his win an unexpected moment for him and his family. Finding out that his brother had also won made the experience even more memorable.

The Open For More National Consumer Promotion gives consumers the chance to win ₦1 million, ₦100,000 cash prizes for thousands of winners, and a brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, with more than ₦400 million in cash and prizes available during the promotion. To participate, consumers are required to purchase specially marked Open For More bottles of Guinness Foreign Extra Stout or Guinness Smooth, check for the unique code beneath the crown cork or can lid, and enter the code on the designated campaign platform.
The weekly live draws will continue every Friday on the Guinness Nigeria Instagram page, with consumers encouraged to follow the page for updates, winner announcements and information on how to participate.
