It is interesting, utterly satisfying and indeed incontrovertible that nobody in his right senses can convincingly fault H.E OVIE OMO AGEGE on performance while in office or accuse  him sincerely of not carrying the people along. It will however be observed that the  critics of H.E OVIE OMO AGEGE have continued to carefully dodged from these areas because they know, it will be difficult to  convince anybody on it. They have rather concentrated their criticisms on false accusations, political jobbering back biting and slander etc.
Again, nobody can accuse the H.E OVIE OMO AGEGE of attracting substandard projects to Delta Central and Delta State in the past. Instead, some of the critics are only interested or talking about their personal benefits or what they feel they ought to gain from H.E OVIE OMO AGEGE while in office. Even those he assisted in one way or the other turned against him. These were the DISGRUNTLED fellows. These are not standard basis  of assessing a legislator or anyone, this must be said.
If not that we live in a society where peebles are sharpened and diamonds are darkened, otherwise how could a man like H.E OVIE OMO AGEGE not be commended or carried shoulder high for solely sponsoring Delta APC party for four good years. Attracted over 400 projects across  Delta State and appointed over 200 aides. No senator has ever done this anywhere in Nigeria. (I stand to be corrected) H.E OVIE OMO AGEGE made laws and provided an enabling environment for people to strive.
Being in government is not a license to be idle and expecting H.E OVIE OMO AGEGE to assume the full individual financial and economic.  responsibility of every member of the Party but he strived and performed beyond expectations. This is not how it is in the developed nations.
It is gratifying that today, Delta people can point to the avalanche of developmental projects and strides of H.E OVIE OMO AGEGE. It is equally noteworthy that today, nobody can point to any estate, hotel, mansions, landed properties  etc built or acquired with State funds by the H.E OVIE OMO AGEGE anywhere in the world. Sadly, the problem is that we are used to the wrong way of lifestyle of those in government. We are used to this Markavelian dictum that ‘the end justifies the means’, being the reason why government position is considered the quickest way to easy wealth but H.E OVIE OMO AGEGE served selflessly.
We must begin to praise H.E OVIE OMO AGEGE for judiciously and prudently financed the APC party in the past years which those in political appointments today couldn’t do. While in office he established a harmonious relationship between Delta state  and the federal government, a relationship that  produced massive dividends. Today, most deplorable roads were  given a facelift. Security agents were being encouraged adequately. There was less political tension in the zone and state. These were parameters to judge H.E OVIE OMO AGEGE not subterranean and mundane issues.
Today DELTANS are yelling that H.E OVIE OMO AGEGE should contest for Governorship come 2027 for development of the state.
Let’s continue to support him for the good of the people. Now is the time. AGEGE is coming, watch out!
Truthfully Yours, *NZE ATHAN IWUCHUKWU KSM* (CHAIRMAN APC NON INDIGENES DELTA STATE).
