Congratulatory messages have continued to pour in for the Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Yahaya Adoza Bello, who is celebrating his 47th birthday today.

Hajiya Asmau Gogo Kabir joined many prominent politicians in Kogi State to felicitate with Governor Bello who was born on 18 June, 1975

Hajiya Gogo Kabir, a Special Adviser On Women’s Affairs to the Governor of Kogi State, said in a press statement on Saturday that Governor Bello has been an ambassador of youths who many Nigerians are looking forward to judging from his successes before he became the governor and even since he took over the mantle of leadership in the Confluence State.

The Special Adviser said GYB, as Governor Bello is fondly called, is loved by women in the state because of the recognition and the attention he has been given women more than any state governors in Nigeria.

“I want to personally felicitate with His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello on his birthday today. He is a man we all love because of his disposition to the cause of women not only in Kogi State, but in Nigeria as a whole.

“Our governor has done so much for us, that is why I am extending this warmth congratulatory message to him on his day.

“I pray that Almighty Allah will continue to give him long life, and shower His blessing upon a man, who, as a young man, so humble and respectful to all irrespective of age, religious and tribe in Kogi State. I also pray that Allah would give him more prosperity in his political career and wisdom to stir the ship of the state during his days as the Governor of Kogi State,” Hajiya Gogo Kabir said.

Governor Bello, a Nigerian businessman and politician, who is currently serving his two terms as the Governor of the state, has been the youngest governor in Nigeria throughout his term in office.

Bello, who studied Accounting and Business Administration at Ahmadu Bello University, has seen his profile risen rapidly over the course of his term, partly due to his relative youth when compared to other Nigerian politicians.
