As a way of giving back to the society, as well as supporting the second term bid of Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu ‘Dullar’, a health and wellness firm, Prestige Health and Succour is set to hold a two- day health support programme for the benefits of the people of Somolu community.

The event which is scheduled to hold on 25th and 26th February, 2021 from 7:00 am-12 noon at 35, Shipeolu street, Somolu, the constituency office of the council chairman will have well-trained health personnel on ground with free test which include breast screening, blood pressure, and sugar level screening.

According to the Head of Operations of the health and wellness firm, Mrs. Maryam Owolabi Bada who hinted that their desire to kill two birds with one stone is in the right direction as they see this as a way of supporting Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu-led administration, the number one citizen of Somolu and as well contribute to the society in their own little way.

She adds, “Health they say is wealth”, a healthy community is no doubt a wealthy one. The bottom line is they spend less on health related issues and going by the popular sayings, when the health of the electorates is germane to the rulers, it shows how responsible and committed they are”. she noted.

Bada continued, “Hon. AbdulHamed Salawu ‘Dullar’ has been up and doing in all the facet of human endeavour especially in the area of health with state-of-the-art health centres springing up here and there with the sole aim of raising health index in the community and we felt it’ll be sensible and reasonable enough to throw our weight behind him. He truly deserves the second bite, he deserves everyone’s vote”.

“And I think for somebody who had done this great job, the only way one can appreciate him is do his bidding at the poll. He’s the man of the people and I believe he’ll come out victorious”. she concluded

Meanwhile, the 2 days health support programme will be declared open by Hon. Rotimi Olowo Emmanuel, the Somolu House of Assembly member and some other top member of Somolu All Progressive Congress (APC).
