In a bid to celebrate its internationality with beer drinkers in the country, Heineken has launched a remarkable technology driven campaign in Nigeria.

Starting from June 19th to August 31st, 2018, Heineken bottles will carry a limited edition label which when scanned on the Shazam app, will show a video clip of one of the 192 countries of the world in which Heineken is enjoyed.

These consumers will be rewarded with points and users who garner the most points stand a chance to win an all expense paid trip to Amsterdam – the birthplace of Heineken.

To ensure the best travel experiences for winners of the contest, Heineken has partnered with KLM – a world renowned airline which also has its roots in the Netherlands, to give the lucky winners an amazing travel experience and a trip of a lifetime.

Commercial Director, KLM, Kim Remco Bohre Spoke ahead of the campaign saying, “We are excited to partner with Heineken to deliver this travel experience. Heineken is one of the world’s most foremost beer brands and we look forward to being part of this remarkable celebration. (Heineken and KLM) both share the same birth place and we have enjoyed our time in the Nigeria market.“

KLM (legally Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij N.V.) is renowned for its world class airline services since its inception over 73 years ago.

With presence in major countries around the world, KLM and Heineken make a perfect match of internationally renowned brands coming together to reward customers.

Lucky winners will get a chance to visit the birth country of both companies as well as 3 other European countries.  KLM and Heineken have promised to give these lucky winners the time of their life with this trip.

To stand a chance to win, Heineken drinkers are advised to look out for the new Heineken bottle labels in bars or stores, scan the label with the shazam app and unlock a new country.
