Ehite ‘Bella’ Asfaw popularly know as BELLA was born on 28 February 1986 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and was raised in Nairobi, Kenya.

She is a Singer, Poet, Spoken word artist, motivational speaker and Philanthropist.

Bella graduated from Ngara Girls High school in Nairobi.

She studied Theater arts in College and graduated after two years. Shortly after college she decided to relocate to America to pursue her dream of becoming a singer and spoken word artist, and also in search of a better life for herself.

In 2012, she moved to the US and found that even Roses have thorns.

“It was difficult being a legal alien and independent artist,” she recalled.

Bella got a job and started working in the healthcare industry as a caregiver by day and pursuing her dreams by night. Many women especially millennials in the Ethiopian community welcomed and accepted her with open arms.

Bella realizing she needed a fan base set out to create a following on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook through her dramatic skits & hysterical character, warm personality, charming attitude, photography and her passion to help others.

She began building her Instagram following with the intention of having fans who will follow her artistic and personal journey.

The move turned out to be a success as her followers and supporters grows every day.

Earlier this year she took a trip to her native land, Ethiopia with aim of helping women who suffer domestic violence and the homeless living in shelters.

Providing her own time and finances, she took the opportunity to do a media tour promoting her causes and was featured and interviewed by several Ethiopian radio and TV stations.

Bella is also the founder and creative director of the skin care brand, ClassyByBella, an online based skin care company originated in Dallas, Texas.

Bella currently resides in Dallas and is currently working on establishing herself as a singer and poet while building her online business.

She is hoping to release a spoken word album later this year.
