Hit FM, Cross River’s Premier radio station has announced a groundbreaking partnership with the U.S. Consulate General Office, Lagos, on the Calabar Entertainment Conference, CEC.

This partnership comes as a grant support towards the organisation of the event, one of the most anticipated entertainment gatherings of the year.

Speaking on partnership, the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Hit FM, Patrick Ugbe said “this collaboration will empower emerging talents and promote a thriving creative economy”.

“The Calabar Entertainment Conference is known for bringing together industry experts, artists, producers, and stakeholders to discuss and explore the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in the entertainment world. With this partnership, it is expected to reach new heights” Ugbe added.

While noting “this partnership demonstrates the importance of the entertainment sector in strengthening diplomatic ties and promoting artistic diversity” the Hit FM Chief added that it also aligns with the Consulate General’s broader mission to support Nigerian culture and arts, reflecting the enduring cultural ties that exist between Nigeria and the United States.

The 2023 Calabar Entertainment Conference, (CEC) slated for Friday, the 6th of October, 2023, at the Cultural Centre Complex, Calabar, the Cross River State capital, promises to be a game-changer for the entertainment industry.
