Hon. Kasunmu Eulogises Late Yeye Kemi Nelson & Other Leaders At Inauguration Party

The party took place under a series of canopy erected on Seriki Aro Street Constituency office of the Lawmaker in Ikeja.

To make the occasion grand, two (2) different designs of colourful Ankara fabrics were distributed across the Constituency by Hon. Kasunmu days before the ceremony and it was a beautiful sight to behold as Party Leaders, members and several constituency stakeholders turned out enmass to rejoice with Hon. Kasunmu on his Inauguration and new appointment as Deputy Majority Leader.

Despite the heavy downpour of the day, the attendance was massive looking sharp and cute in ARK Ankara essemble.

In his address to the gathering, Hon. Kasunmu expressed his profound appreciation to the leadership and members of the All Progressives Congress in Ikeja and Ojodu as well as all loyal members of Ikeja Constituency 2.

He also seized the opportunity to extol the virtues of the late Political Leader of Ikeja, Chief Mrs. Kemi Nelson and thanked her for the great contributions she made before answering the final call of Heaven last year, stating that Ikeja will never forget her.

Speaking further in his remarks, Hon. Kasunmu appreciated the member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency at the House of Reps, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, for his doggedness and unflinching support.

In the course of his remark, Hon ARK announced the appointment of 10 Special Assistants with different portfolios, who would work with him in the Constituency henceforth.

The new appointees were listed as:

2. Folasade Awolala—Special Assistant on Religion and Traditional Matters–OJODU

3. Oluwaseun Makinde—Special Assistant on Political Party Matters (1)- IKEJA

4. Yusuff Alabi( Illalahu)–Special Assistant on Political Matters (2)- IKEJA

5. Hon. Kehinde Akerele (Special Assistant on Political Matters (1)- OJODU

6. Babatunde Oguns— Special Assistant on Political Party Affairs (2)–OJODU

7.  Sikiru Folami– Special Assistant on Security Matters–IKEJA

8.  Babalola Savage — Special Assistant on Security Matters– OJODU

9.  Kemi Yisa-Matthew–Special Assistant on Constituency Office Operations-IKEJA
