Hon. Kasunmu Thanks His Ikeja 2 Constituents

The newly re-elected Ikeja Constituency 2 Lawmaker in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu, popularly called ARK, has commended the people of his Constituency for voting massively for him and Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu during the Governorship and Houses of Assembly elections last Saturday March 9.

Kasunmu who has been representing the the Constituency on the platform of the APC since 2015, sought re-election to the house and contested against 16 other candidates in an election adjudged to be free and fair last Saturday.

At the end of voting, Kasunmu polled 16, 891 votes to beat his closest rival from PDP with over 12500 votes.
Another interesting part of the election was that Kasunmu won all the 455 polling units in Ikeja Constituency and defeat all his opponents in their respective polling units.

In his acceptance/appreciation speech on Monday, Kasunmu dedicated his victory to the youths of Ikeja 2 and also thanked the Leaders and members of his Party as well as the general electorate of Ikeja LGA and Ojodu LCDA for their unprecedented support before, during and after the election.

The 35-year old lawyer who is the youngest and one of the most vibrant legislators in the current 8th Assembly of Lagos State, also promised to continue providing “qualitative representation and greater service to the people” in his second term in office.
