Hon. Mpaka promised to make the outreach an annual event that will occur every Christmas Day.

“This outreach is my own way of helping those widows and mothers who have nobody to help them out. And from next year it will an annual event that will be organized through the MPAKABOARI LONGJOHN FOUNDATION,” he said.

“I want to use this medium to complement efforts of the state government in alleviating the plights of the less privileged and helpless,” the Honourable added.

Speaking to our reporter, Hon. LongJohn said watching the women singing songs of thanksgiving and dancing with happiness gave him great satisfaction, especially with the tough economic situation brought on by the covid pandemic restrictions and lockdown.

The businessman and philanthropist said it is the hand and grace of God in his life that inspires him to do works of charity.

“All women are life givers and the foundation of the world so they should be taken care of and nurtured,” he said.
