The residents of Adeshina-Adeniyi Oke heaved a sigh of relief as the Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, initiated the ground-breaking ceremony of the road construction.
The six-month project is a brainchild of the Lagos State Government under the leadership of Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu. It is also part of the 114 road construction projects being carried out across the 57 Local Governments/Local Council Development Areas simultaneously.
“This road construction is a brainchild of the Lagos State Government under the leadership of our able and sellable Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu. It is part of the 114 roads being constructed across all the 57 Local Governments and Local Council Development areas in a bid to make Lagos State a worthy pride of the Nation.”
“After much deliberations and consultations, the selection of this road was borne out of the urgent need to link all the communities in our LCDA. This would bring about easy and smooth navigation within our communities, increased economic viability and visibility and ultimately increase our living standard,” Odunmbaku said.
While responding to enquiries from the press, the APC Chairman Ojodu LCDA, Alhaja Stella Kokumo, showered encomiums on the Governor and Ojodu Mayor for choosing to construct such strategic road which would link various communities within the LCDA.
Also present at the ceremony were the Vice Chairman, Hon. Bunmi Oluyadi, the SLG, Hon Olaide John Bello, Party Leaders, Legislators, Executive members, management staff and community members.
