The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, on Wednesday, attended the wake keep programme of Late Barr. Tijani, the former Secretary to the Local Government (SLG) of Ojodu LCDA held at Blue Roof, LTV, Agidingbi.
In an emotional tribute, Hon. Odunmbaku described the late Barr. Tijani as not only a mentor but also an uncle figure, stating that his absence would leave a deep void in the hearts of all who knew him.
“To say he will be sorely missed is an understatement,” Odunmbaku expressed.
The Council Chairman offered prayers for the bereaved family, asking for strength and comfort during this difficult time. He also emphasized that the ideals and values Barr. Tijani stood for would forever remain a guiding light in the community.
“His legacy will continue to inspire us all,” he added.
Barr. Tijani was known for his dedication to public service and his profound influence on the growth and development of Ojodu LCDA, at the event were the Vice Chairman, Hon Bunmi Oluyadi, SLG, Hon Olaide John Bello, Hon Olumide Akinade, Hon Lekan Peters, APC Ojodu LCDA Chair, Mrs Olusola Kokumo and Vice, Hon Gbemi Olalade.
