The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, today hosted the Association of Professional Photographers and Videographers (Ojodu LCDA Chapter) at the council secretariat.
The visit, led by the association’s Chairperson, Mrs. Lola Adenubi, aimed to formally introduce the group to the council and seek partnership opportunities to support artisans in the creative industry. The association also proposed collaborations to train and equip unemployed and unskilled individuals in photography and videography while advocating for the empowerment of its members.
During the meeting, the association presented a framed portrait to Hon. Odunmbaku and unanimously endorsed his continued leadership, citing his remarkable development initiatives, particularly the free health surgeries benefiting residents.
Hon. Odunmbaku, a former professional photographer himself, emphasized the importance of skill acquisition in tackling unemployment. He pledged to integrate the association into the council’s empowerment programs, which provide training, equipment distribution, financial support, and palliatives for artisans and youths.
