BELLO AKINKUNMI YAKUB

The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, is deeply saddened by the tragic and untimely death of Alhaja Taibat Alli, a devoted and tireless member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who slumped and passed away earlier yesterday at the venue of the campaign rally at Ward F in Ojodu LCDA.

The sudden demise of Alhaja Alli, which occurred in the presence of fellow party faithful and supporters, has left the entire Ojodu APC family in a state of shock and mourning.

Known for her unwavering loyalty, grassroots strength and passionate service to the party, Alhaja Alli was a symbol of dedication and commitment whose loss is immeasurable.

Hon. Odunmbaku, upon receiving the tragic news, immediately visited the hospital where she was rushed and later proceeded to her family home to condole with the bereaved. The Chairman, visibly heartbroken, described her passing as “a painful and monumental loss, not only to her immediate family but to the entire political structure of Ojodu and the progressive movement at large”.

In honour of her memory and in recognition of the immense grief her death has caused, Hon. Odunmbaku directed the immediate suspension of all campaign activities as a mark of respect for the deceased.

“This is a moment of deep sorrow for all of us,” the Chairman said.

“Alhaja Taibat Alli’s life was one of selfless service and passionate dedication to our party. She remained active and vibrant until her final moments. Her memory will remain evergreen in the hearts of all who knew her.”

The Chairman offered heartfelt prayers for the repose of her soul and asked Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant her Aljanah Firdaus while comforting her family, friends, and members of the APC Ojodu chapter during this difficult time.
