Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, the Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, yesterday visited the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Solid Rock Parish, in a bid to forster and fortify the relationship between the government and the community.
Hon. Odunmbaku emphasized the importance of bridging the gap between the government and the people, highlighting the collaborative roles of the government and the church in community development.
He outlined key initiatives under his administration’s HEYS Agenda, including the “See A Doctor” programme, which offers free surgeries for hernia, lumps and fibroids, plans for a new sports complex, a mini general hospital, a new secondary school in Ogba and ongoing free bus services for residents.
He also announced an ongoing 20 million Naira interest-free loans and grants for SMEs while encouraging the youth to join vocational training programmes by Ojodu LCDA in Offshore welding, Masonry, Advanced Solar and Artificial Intelligence in ICT.
Pastor Tunji Adeyinka and visiting minister, Pastor Lanre Ayedun, gave the Council Chairman and his team a warmly welcome while offering prayers and support for the administration’s efforts to enhance development in Ojodu LCDA.
