Facts have emerged on how two men namely Michael Hammed Azeez, 20 and Adeola Ogunseye, 22, allegedly abducted a 14-year old girl, tore her pant and gang raped her.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspects were arrested by the Police operatives from Ogun State Command on November 4, 2020, following a complaint lodged at Owode Egba Divisional Headquarters by the mother of the victim.
According to the Police sources, the girl was lured into the dastardly act after she was trapped and forcefully taken away to an unknown place.
This was confirmed by the victim’s mother who told the Police that her daughter was abducted by the two suspects on November 3 at about 8:30 pm and taken to an unknown place where the duo took turns to forcefully have carnal knowledge of her.
It was further learnt that the rape victim was later found seriously battered along School Road, Owode Egba, Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.
Following the complaint, the DPO of Owode Egba Division, CSP Mathew Ediae, mobilized his detectives to the area where the two suspects identified by the victim were apprehended.
The Police also recovered the torn panties of the girl, which confirmed that she was actually raped by the suspects as alleged by the girl’s mother.
Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP Edward Ajogun, has ordered the transfer of the suspects to the State CID for further investigation and prosecution.
The suspects risk life imprisonment if they are found culpable, charged before the Court, tried and are found guilty for the alleged offence.
