The Chief Executive Officer of Buruj Football Club and Sports Academy, Dr. Salaudeen Waheed Buruj, has expressed his profound appreciation to Addosser Microfinance Bank for the confidence, encouragement and relationship that have supported his journey and vision for football development in Nigeria.

Dr. Buruj specifically acknowledged Mr. Ayodeji Sobulo, Founder and Group Managing Director of Addosser, as well as Mr. Oladotun Timothy, for their encouragement and contribution to his relationship with Addosser.

“My gratitude goes to Addosser Microfinance Bank, especially Oladotun Timothy, who gave me the courage to bank with Addosser. I also sincerely appreciate Mr. Ayodeji Sobulo for his leadership, encouragement and support. Since I started banking with Addosser, I have never regretted my decision.”

Dr. Buruj explained that his relationship with Addosser Microfinance Bank has formed part of the financial foundation behind several of his football development initiatives.

Through this relationship, he says he has been able to make important investments, including the acquisition of land for the development of a stadium, while also supporting football players pursuing professional opportunities and pathways to Europe.

His vision extends beyond football alone. Dr. Buruj is committed to creating an environment where young Nigerian footballers can combine football development, education, discipline and international exposure.

The planned stadium project represents another step toward building sustainable sporting infrastructure, while his continued support for players seeking opportunities abroad demonstrates his commitment to opening international pathways for Nigerian football talent.

Dr. Buruj described his relationship with Addosser as one that he values greatly and expressed appreciation to the institution and its leadership for being part of his journey.

“I appreciate Addosser Microfinance Bank for being part of my journey. I believe that with the right financial partnerships and a clear vision, we can continue investing in football infrastructure, developing young talents and creating opportunities for Nigerian players to achieve their dreams in Nigeria and Europe.”

The partnership reflects Dr. Buruj’s determination to use football as a vehicle for youth development, education, infrastructure and international opportunities.
