On Saturday, July 12, Hon. Akindele Adunni Opeyemi, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship candidate for Mosan-Okunola Local Council Development Area (LCDA), emerged victoriously in the just-concluded local government elections.

The election was held across all 20 Local Government Areas and 37 LCDAs in Lagos State.

The Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) declared the results at about 9:12 p.m. inside the council secretariat, following the collation of votes.

Adunni secured a resounding win, polling 7,160 out of 7,647 valid votes cast, an overwhelming majority that reaffirmed her popularity and strong grassroots support.

The announcement sparked jubilation among supporters, party leaders, and community stakeholders, who described the outcome as a reflection of the people’s trust in Adunni’s leadership and commitment to service.

With this victory, Adunni is set to lead Mosan-Okunola LCDA, guided by her L.E.A.D.E.R.S.H.I.P blueprint, ushering in a renewed era of progressive governance, inclusive leadership, and sustainable community development.
