This is election and everything that will aid clearing the Augean stable that is the APC is allowed in thoughtless haste. However, no matter how convenient this may be, there are pertinent questions my consistent brothers in opposition continue to ask.
First, when will the APC learn to reward the efforts of her diehard members? Yesterday, the flag-off, a major sign post event of any political party has been handed over to a precariously itinerant Politician, who finds it very difficult to subject himself to Authority and too selfish that he finds collective interest abhorrent.
This is a sad tale that has kept the APC retarded in Anambra. Sadly, majority of her members are too helpless that they continue to clutch on straws for help.
Leaving the APC is one decision many who have left have never regretted. After all what is there to miss about a Mother who feeds on her infants? For an Olisa Onyeka (Odu Ogidi), who has consistently shown loyalty and capacity in building the APC in Idemili when this returnee “journey walker” chickened out after being one of the beneficiaries of Chris Ngige’s benevolence, has to be happy with a Party that rewards dissidents.
My Warri friends would say, “e no good to call Cow Bros because say you want eat meat”.
It is congratulations to the APC long sufferers, your oppressors are receiving medals for dancing on your carcass.
