How Gov Uzodinma Dissolved Cabinet, Retained Only 8 Commissioners

The Executive Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma, in order to rejig and reenergize the system for maximum productivity, at his discretion dissolved his 28-member cabinet, retaining only eight Commissioners in the first major cabinet reshuffle since assuming office on 15th January, 2020.

The Ministries whose Commissioners were retained in the dissolution included Finance, Science and Technology, Health, Works, Information, Youths and Sports, Women Affairs and Tourism.

The Imo Governor, Uzodinma, thanked the affected former Commissioners and assured them that they can still be found relevant in other areas if eventually they did not make the new cabinet, which he said will be reconstituted soon.
