Soludo’s examples always point to the ideal. He is a man who greets nobility with honour and reserves due spaces for people according to their diligent contribution to advancing the course of development.
From his campaign days, he remains the only Candidate who openly acknowledged the contributions of all his predecessors to the development of Anambra State. From Mbadinuju to Ngige, Peter and Obiano, Soludo pays each his due respect.
Yesterday, when he advanced a call for the creation of a “College of former Governors”, he noted that the advisory role they would play will help shape the developmental trajectory of the State. Meanwhile, Prof. Soludo is a man rooted in gratitude for good deeds.
We spent considerable time yesterday with former Governor Obiano at his Aguleri country home. It is the yuletide season, a period to spread affection.
May the lessons in this never be lost on us!
