How Jealous Man Shot His Girlfriend On The Private Part Over Phone Call

A man, identified as Chidube Onyema, reportedly shot his girlfriend, Chinwendu, on her private part in Umuokirie Village, Okuku Autonomous Community, Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State and it led to her death.

According to the Police spokesperson, Imo State Police Command, Orlando Ikeokwu, the suspect, Onyema, has been arrested and the case transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department in Owerri, the state capital.

“Yes, it is true. The suspect has been arrested and the case has been transferred to Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Owerri for more investigation and prosecution,” the Police PRO, Ikeokwu said.

It was gathered that the man, Onyema, shot and killed his girlfriend, Chinwendu, over allegations of cheating.

According to one of the suspect’s neighbours, the lady visited her boyfriend from her village, Ohabele in Obosima community, Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State before the unfortunate incident.

The neighbour, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that the lady received a call, which caused a disagreement between her and the suspect, Onyema.
Onyema was said to have demanded for her mobile phone and the refusal to hand over her phone to him, infuriated him and he went to get his gun from the room and the girlfriend, Chinwendu, on her private part.

According to the neighbour, “She usually visits Chidube (Onyema) from her village. She came from Aba in Abia State and was supposed to return on Sunday evening before her boyfriend killed her. Trouble started after the lady answered a phone call. The guy demanded to know who called her but she refused to tell him. He shot her on her private part. He is our neighbour and a hunter”.
