A 30-year old lady, Mrs. Blessing Jimoh, has landed in trouble after she was given prophecy by her Pastor that her mother, Mrs. Ijeoma Odo, was the witch that had hindered her progress.

P.M.EXPESS reports that Blessing believed the Pastor and allegedly used a cutlass to cut off her mother’s throat and she bled to death.

She has been arrested by operatives from the Ondo State Police Command for allegedly killing her mother, Ijeoma Odo and is facing a case of murder, which attracts life imprisonment if she is tried before the Court and found guilty.

The suspect, Blessing, was paraded alongside other suspected criminals and she confessed that she killed her mother with a cutlass after a Pastor accused her of witchcraft.
The mother of four, Mrs. Blessing, said that she committed the crime while they were working at their farm in Ile-Oluji area, Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government Area of the state.

She claimed to be mentally unstable when she committed the crime.

“It was the challenge I am facing that caused me to kill my mother. I am not happy with what I did. I cut her neck with a cutlass. It was a Pastor that told me she was a witch and I went to beg her. My mother is from Enugu State.”

The Ondo State Commissioner of Police, Bolaji Salami, said the suspect, alongside others, would soon be charged to Court after the conclusion of investigation.
