It was double jeopardy for a 14-year old girl after she was allegedly sexually abused and impregnated by her biological father, who also recruited five of their neighbours to have sex with her for a fee.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the 49-year old father, Amoda Bola, has arrested alongside the five other suspects he recruited to have sex with his own daughter for a fee, who included Ahmed Ogunkoya, 30, Muyiwa Adeoye, 48, David Sunday Solaja, 69, Emmanuel Olusanya, 50, and Joshua Olaniran, 50.
The incident happened at in Ode Remo North Local Government Area of Ogun State, where the man resides with the victim after separating from her mother over an undisclosed disagreement.
The father and the other suspects were arrested by the Police operatives from the Ogun State Command following a complaint received from the victim.
This was disclosed by the Ogun State Command Public Relations Officer,  SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed that the suspects were in Police custody undergoing interrogation over the dastardly act.
SP Abimbola Oyeyemi stated that the man’s daughter had told the Police that “her father, with whom she had been living for some years now, had been having carnal knowledge of her and has been inviting other men to the house to have sex with her after which the men will pay him money as sex fee.
He stated: “Following the report, the DPO of Ode Remo Division, CSP Olayemi Fasogbon, detailed his detectives to the scene where the suspect was arrested”.
“On interrogation, the suspect, who first denied the allegations, later confessed when the victim confronted him. His confession led to the arrest of five others, who had slept with her at different times on the invitation of the father,” Oyeyemi informed.
He stated that all the suspects confessed sleeping with the teenage girl and paying the father, whose mother had separated from the father years back, as she was practically turned into a prostitute by her father.
Oyeyemi also stated that the victim has been taken to the State General Hospital in Isara area, where the doctors confirmed that she is pregnant and the victim insisted that it was her father who is responsible for the pregnancy, being the only person who slept with her within the period she conceived.
The Police spokesman stated that the case will be transferred to the Anti-human Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of the State CIID as directed by the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Bankole.
The suspects risk several years of imprisonment if they are tried and found guilty before the Court for the alleged offence defilement.
However, that will be after the conclusion of investigations by the Police, while the suspects will remain in custody pending when the Police report will be ready.
